Arts Gallery WA - Savcor Finn

Full scaffolding access to brick work, with minimal disturbance to the Arts Gallery and associated shops. Provided weather and dust proof environment, loading bays and protection public fans.

Star Cell Access

Between 4 grain silos on CBH sites is what they call a Star Cell - 30m high. We provided an cost effective and efficient solution to provide access to the walls for strengthening. The process takes approximately 12months per cell so every reliable, efficiency gain is appreciated. ScafWest designed a special support frame suspended from 4 motors contoured to the wall with no interference to the tight work area that runs up and down the space.

Craneable Curved Scaffold Saves Shutdown Time

Building the craneable curved scaffold that could not touch the tank walls for relining saved 3 days of production downtime. This was possible with ScafWest's Flexitruss and design team that provided a muti-level all round access supported from above with consistent clearance from the tank wall.

CBH Geraldton/Silo Refurbishment

Access to all levels 34m high including curved section that is contouring the wall of the diaphragms. Roof, full encapsulation and man/material hoist provided.

Buckingham Re-Development Company/Stirling Council

Kwikstage system with platforms to all outside face with additional bridging, shadecloth, shrinkwrap, pedestrian tunnels, rubbish chute & hoist.

Tiwest/Muchea WA

Erection of 30m high scaffold all round & inside building with monarflex encapsulation for containment.

Structural Systems/Narrows Bridge WA

Required a Platform suspended from above and cantilevered to attaché carbon strengthening. The platform followed the curvature of the bridge.

Garner Perrorr/HMAS Canberra WA

Required access all throughout the ship, mast and over the side for repainting.

Kulin/CBH WA

A circular 1.2m wide platform was built with no interference to the wall that needed work. This platform was raised & lowered with electric winches. The yellow dots are men standing on the platform. The tank was 12 meters in diameter.

AGC/Cockburn Reclaimer

Suspended from above with no way to reach steel work from climbing above, so scaffold had to be progressively constructed by cantilevering forward using FlexiTruss^TM.

PTA/Fremantle Rail Bridge

A Mobile hanging platform that rolled on tracking with rubbish chute to remove waste.

Architects WA/Kings Park

Here an access platform with multiple splayed walls where the scaffold had to contour the structure specifically to carry out the work.

Baines Harding/Kellerberin WA

Circular tracking supported above with man and swing stage to paint exterior of tank.

Project Painting Services/IFAP Training Module

All suspended access for re-painting.

Zinco/Albany

45 degree sloping walkway that was stepped to paint the underside.

PMS/Indropilly Bridge NSW

Erection of a 12mx6m rolling mobile to paint underside of bridge.

Eptec/Delos WA

Access for painting required, where the walkway could not be interfered with.

Macro/ECU Joondalup

Tracking supported from roof to carry mobile platform to replace roof & windows.

Kerman/Midland Brick

Large suspend platform constructed over an extreme heat area above kilns.

AGC/Pokahurra

Offshore jacket in fabrication shed with tight erection time. All steel had to be kept clear for painting.

Kulin/Rottnest Light House

Withstanding 70 Knot winds, the platform followed the curve of the structure, with a curved tracking to paint the lower walls of the light house with a swing stage.
